Everest E-Commerce is easy. I the module is about $5000 USD and has the potential to pay for itself in mere months. A few things to remember are:

1. You need three different image sizes. For each item you intend on publishing to the internet. A great product that I use to do this is called Bomes image resizer. http://www.bome.com/tools/resizer/

2. You probably should have a credit card processing system in place. Everest currently supports
      a. IcVerify
      b. Payflow Pro
      c. Worldpay

3. With simple SQL commands, we can activate all of your parts to be on the internet. The code is simple. " Update Items set webactive = 't' You need not go through every item and webactivate.  There are many broad batch commands that an Everest user can use to efficiently bring a website up

4. All of your descriptions and extended descriptions can be updated to your website from excel, and formatted in your desired font. There is no need to manually update all of your items by hand.

5. Starship is a cool tool to have. Starship enables your shipper to update shipping information on your web orders automatically. The customer all of a sudden becomes more self sufficient. 6. Budget for Google ad words. Your budget will depend on what you sell. "Build a website and they will come" does not apply anymore. In today'Iinterent you must fight for your share of the trillion dollar industry.

7. SEO. Search engine optimization is so very important for your web success. Everest in the early days had a poor interface for SEO. In Version 4.0 they have addressed this problem and now have a much better search friendly website. That being said, some web interface customizations will greatly aid you in your website traffic which in the end would translate to more sales

8. Have a vision. You are going to want Google to direct potential customers to your site by manufacturer model numbers. This is not an unrealistic expectation.
